I just now realize this is an old thread but serious dripping eyes is not normal, it's true that the inner corners of many yorkies eyes might get gunky but the eyes should not be weeping constantly. I have a face book friend that has a male with very wet eyes, I messaged her to see what his condition is, see her response below.
"I don't really remember the medical name for it, but it is a congenital defect of his lower eyelids. Putting eye drops or stuff in the water doesn't help. We have tried everything and the Ophthalmologist wants us to wait till he's a year old and then it looks like we will do surgery to try to correct it and the weeping. " |
