Welcome to YT. Consistency is the key word for house breaking a pup.
Always feed the same time every day. Wait 20 minutes, take pup out to potty area even if he doesn't make, even if he made in the house still take him out. Feed same time everyday, take out same time every day. Dogs get into a routine. Routine must be consistent, no deviation. Patience and consistency, pup will learn routine. You must be diligent with feeding time and potty time. Yorkies / terriers can take a bit more time to house break. My pups were 100% paper trained at 5 months old, then house breaking started, by 7 months old they were 100% house broken with NO accidents in the house.
