Love the links, Gail. Puppy breeders, buyers and owners need to read this, especially those who haven't done a lot of research on puppy intelligence, learning, imprinting. Most helpful and interesting information that these techniques can potentially produce larger brains, smarter dogs! Reinforces an old theory of mine and lots of other people who have worked with dogs and animals from early on that larger brains generally makes for smarter animals.

It's always good to see good information and research abstracts and conclusions down in writing somewhere so all who want to can read and learn how to help make our puppies and dogs better. Enriching dogs lives helps all dogs but the younger, the more hyperplastic the brain, it seems. And staying with mom for at least 12 weeks make an imprint on the brain of puppies that apparently no other techniques can so fully achieve.
