I had a dog with severe stomach issues that were probably because of her cancer.

The vet had me make oatmeal, just plain oatmeal and oh my gosh did she love that!

It became a treat for me to just cook a huge pot of oatmeal on the weekends and I would dish up a couple dishes for the dogs and another helping or two for her if she had been sick. Then I would add cinnamon or brown sugar or whatever to the rest and my family would get oatmeal for breakfast. They loved it. If only my gallbladder issues and IBS would allow me to eat oatmeal now, I would do it just for the fun of it.

My dogs gobble down oatmeal like crazy and love it!
