Update: She went for her 2nd treatment and the vet said she is "ecstatic" with her recovery so far. We bought 2 good size cages and left one at home and put one in my office. I have taken her to work every day this week so I can keep an eye on her. The hard part is that she does not know that she just had a major surgery and needs to heal. She has been living with pain for so long that I think she just thinks it is normal to run and play in pain. And poor Max! He is terrified of that cone on her head. I'll put her down on the floor and as soon as she starts walking toward him he runs away. She gets the stitches out next Thursday and hopefully loses the cone also. There is still a long way to go but so far we have been blessed with her progress.
