New Yorkie I can so relate, I had a mini schnauzer for 18 years, she was my heart, my best friend. I had decided not to replace her, I'm starting to get older, live in an apartment and wasn't sure if I was up for walking another dog for 15 or 20 years. I took the responsibility of putting her down, I could not let her suffer.I know you did the right thing.
I was without my girl for one week and said to h--- with it! I'm getting a new baby! When I went to see Emma, there were 4 pups available, she was sleepy but I just had to hold her. It was like the dog had a magnet on her that was connected to my heart. I couldn't put her down!
We have not been separated since. I love my little girl, she did not replace Annie, but I see her as a gift from heaven for loving Annie so much. They are different breeds, but you know how sweet the Yorkie is... You know how easy they are to love.... I know there is one out there waiting for you. You can love her in honor of your other baby. I really hope things work out for you as happy as they did for me. God Bless you
