Oh, that is just horrible!!! Maybe take him to another reputable, respected hospital ER - a hospital you won't mind him being admitted to - and get him an emergency MRI tonight or this weekend. With his symptoms, especially if he has a little dizziness, too, one would no doubt be ordered stat.
