You need to let your vet give the injections....you can end up with an abcess if you give a shot incorrectly. The most common place for sub Q injections IS the area right above the front legs/neck area....are you giving the injections with the bevel up? Are you using sharp needles? Let your vet do your shots if you are having problems....dont just swing around and give a shot someplace else or IM when subQ is indicated....you think you are having issues giving a subQ injection, just try shooting that baby intramuscularly!!!
