She has another year of high school and plans to attend the local community college (15 mins away) for 2 years. Then she might go away to college, but it is only 2 hours away so she would come home at least a weekend a month or more. If the dog is 3 1/2 before she goes to college and comes home frequently I think it will be fine. It will still be her dog and then she will come back home from college until she finds a place and then can take her with her. I think the dog will be old enough and see her frequently enough to know she is still hers, plus she will be loved here.
You wouldn't believe all the stuff I have for this puppy!
She has a new crate. 2 dog beds, 4 baby blankets, a package of pee pads, 5 or 6 toys, puppy nyla bones, puppy dog biscuits, 2 dresses, 1 T Shirt, 2 cute collars, a harness and matching leash. A storage container with paw prints on it to store treats for her in. She has a huge pile of stuff. We can't wait to bring her home in a few months!
