I do apologize to those people that don't agree with mixes. I am not trying to upset people by being excited about a Yorkie mix puppy, but we are excited and for those that are upset at me for getting a mix puppy I am sorry. I think personally this is a great gift for a 17 year old and if I wanted to spend $1500 or more on her then I should buy her a car or put it in her college fund. A free puppy that I know both parents of and was born in the house that I lived in until I was 21 years old is an amazing gift for my daughter.

You should not feel you need to apologize. I am a part of the "yorkie mix club" and I wouldn't change anything about her. Well, maybe just her size. If I could add 2 pounds to her, I would! Other than that, she is perfect to me.
