I would say he is marking. I had a client come by Sunday and bring her 4 month old little male to see me and his mom. This little 4 month old male, did his best to hump his mom. Maybe the mom is getting ready to come back into heat since it's been 6 months from breeding date? Never thought a 4 month old would try mount a female.
