Dogs are not in shelters because they are mixes, but for a wide variety of reasons.
I do not need to any stories or background. When a dog owner allows 2 animals to produce a litter of puppies they have become a breeder. Furthermore, I do not need to be schooled in how, why or when dogs end up in shelters. That had nothing to do with my original posts. There is NEVER a good reason to mix breeds. If you want to make something to give away bake cookies.

It is not because i feel everyone should adopt that I speak out. You CAN purchase from a reputable breeder. They do exist. They just don't give what the public wants...or shall I say some of the public.
People have a right to do as they please. To me the question is this: Is it "right" to do it to the pups? I just saw a home breeder lose her female the other day...she posted it on a yorkie fb page. I have seen this so many times. Oh well......
Exactly!
