 Affordable fencing?
Does anyone have suggestions for affordable fencing for a little 6 pound yorkie? We have a small backyard, but it would be plenty big enough for him to run around in if we ever fenced it in. It is fenced on 2 sides (by neighbors) but not on the other two sides, and to get a wooden or vinyl fence installed would be $1000's, even for our small amount of fence needed.
I've read some things about metal farm fences and plastic mesh fences (like from Best Friend Fence), but I wonder if people with yorkies have had success with them? For instance, in the plastic mesh fencing situation, I know Scoop would try to chew on it and or put his weight on it (not jump over it, just put his front feet on it) and I don't know how durable it would be.
Any suggestions? We already have a tie out for him, but it just gets tangled in everything, and honestly - it's pretty heavy for just a little yorkie. |
