Personally, I've never had any problems with my boys appetite. He is a mini-pig! |

Yes dog will eat, they know food is needed to survive. Yorkies are very clever little rascals and just may want that special extra attention when it's time to eat, they know how to play us and lol, it usually works in their favor. I have only hand fed any of my dogs when they are sick and MUST eat. Dogs are creatures of habit, once you start something you have to keep it up. I would hand a piece or two just to get her started, get the taste buds going. Like a member suggested, if vet has found no weight loss she is eating enough. I am committed to my dogs, I know if I start something they expect it all the time and know what ever I have started I will be committed to. Hand feed if you want, but keep in mind, it will be something you will have to continue to do, sometimes it is not always convenient to sit and hand feed.
