Firstly, thank you ALL so very, very much for your wonderful support, good thoughts and lovely messages....it means so very much to me.
He had his pre-op assessment yesterday afternoon - and we've just heard that I have to take him for a heart scan at 5 p.m. 'our time' on Friday 13th (
) to check that he's able to have his operation on Saturday. He had a heart attack some years ago, and still suffers with angina....so they have to be absolutely sure that it'll be safe....
Hopefully all will go ahead as planned - he's really psyched himself up for it, and really doesn't want or need any setbacks now at the last moment...
All being well, his surgery is scheduled for 7 a.m. on the 14th - I shall, of course, keep you posted....fingers crossed still please, everyone!!!
