My Teddy has not been neutered. He is a year and a half old and was fully house trained at 14 weeks.
He never has any accidents but he does mark. There are some who claim that neutering can reduce the CHANCE that your male will mark but there are no guarantees. This is because others suspect that marking is a behavioral issue rather than strictly hormonal.
