Default Marking, blacklight evidence..then what?

Hi All,

I have purchased a blacklight (which may or may not work since it was shipped from China for $2!) to use for inspection of my house and evidence of marking spots by SirTeddykins.

But, knowing there is little point in retroactively scolding him, when I find the spots (assuming I know that that's what has been highlighted), apart from cleaning them with enzymatic cleaner, what then?

Do I just remain hyper vigilant around him when he's near those areas? Do I need to be if they have been cleaned and, if so, for how long? Should I just remain on alert until I'm almost sure that the behavior has been curbed or is this a lifelong thing because enzymatic cleaners can't be trusted? I'm using things like white vinegar, baking soda and Rug Doctor for pet urine.

Can you all help with advice, please?

Thanks!
