 Hand Feeding Yorkie???
Just curious if anyone hand feeds their Yorkie. Just asking because my 1yr old guy is so so picky. I haven't hand feed him yet, but when I put his food down he mostly sniffs and walks away. Then if I give him dry I will take a few kibbles and put it on the floor and he seems interested and will eat them and then may eat some of the ones in his bowl.
Again, I haven't hand fed, but I'm concerned that all he wants to do is play and not really be interested in food. I had his poop analyzed and his a happy normal boy, just so so picky. I've tried diff wet foods, diff dry foods, mixed them together, added parmesan cheese. He always seems interested in the new food the first day I give it to him, but sure enough the next couple of times I give it to him he starts to be back to his picky self.
Please advise your thoughts as I don't want to spoil him by hand feeding, but I hope this is just a phase as he just turned 1 yr last month |
