You'd be surprised at what kind of people would try to hack an account. There's the ones that would spam advertisements, do random mischief and so on. I've seen sites that I've visited that had a hacker go in and post random horrible stuff or set up a virus, and other cases they deleted the person's website There's no particular reason, they'll just pick random people sometimes.
