I can't believe it, I had the exact thing happen to me ( I mean exactly the same) Got Zoey at 13 weeks, first Vet didn't notice, she was 20 weeks when the second Vet told me about it. The opening is very small (Vet said) but I am still extremely worried that she will bump her head. By the way the Vet said it's because she is soooo small that she has this problem.....she is only 2 lbs at 22 weeks. How big is Lucy?
I would never give her up so I guess even if the breeder said he would take her back "that's not going to happen". I will just have to deal with it. Iwould think good breeders like to know if there is a problem even if we keep the pup, just for better breeding programs in the future. Well, all the best with your baby!!!!!! PS My Vet said there is a chance it will close.
