Yes, they can actually get kennel cough from the vaccine itself...in puppies, this is particularly dangerous bc it can proceed to pneumonia...so keep a close eye on things. You may want a cough suppressant from the vet, btw.
I don't allow the vet to give my kiddos this vaccine, since it's not a core vaccine. I only get the core vaccines: Distemper, Parvo, Rabies.
