I hear ya, but, I am talking about stray dogs, not a person walking dog off leash, off leash with owner in sight I pick my boy up. If their dog comes towards me there is the owner to call their dog back. I am talking about being alone. walking my dog. There are not many ppl dog walking in my community, dogs are kept in yards behind fence, there are no ppl strolling the roads, no ppl in sight to help if my dog gets attacked, it's just me, my dog and the other dog. But on occasions we do get strays in here, even hybrid coyotes, using wasp spray on a stray dog I don't think the dog is gonna go home and say hey, mom, dad I was roaming around at blah, blah, blah and this lady sprayed me with wasp spray, then lead them to my house. In my community the few ppl that I have seen walking their dog, they are always on leash. I do thank you for the heads up,everyone will benefit from it, but for me, in the almost rural area where I live, it's the wasp spray for me. This is the only place that I carry it. Like I already wrote, I don't advise anyone to use it,but it's what I use.
