A telescopic umbrella is a hand thing to carry , when you press the button to activate it to open up it give you something to put between you dog and the other dog to keep the apart, and it's not illegal to carry it, even on sunny days lol
We have had problems in the past with unleashed dogs running up and Lottie has ended up so nervous because of it.
