The puppies are a very dear friend of mine. We grew up in the same town, went to high school together and now she lives in the house I grew up in! So, the puppies were born in the house I lived in until I was 21 years old. How cool is that?

She owns both parents, so I know both of them.

We are looking at either the lighter of the brown and tan pups or the smallest of the females. However, we are not making a decision until we see them early in April. Then we can make a decision about which one we want and then when it is ready go back and get it. They are located 12 hours from where I live, but we go there often as it is where my husband and I are both from and he has family 4 miles from my friend's house. I go and visit her every time I am up there and I go up there about 6 times a year so getting the puppy back home is not a big deal.

We are so excited about it! It is my daughter's 17th birthday present (her birthday is in 3 days). She knows about it and has final say in which puppy she gets. It will be fun though. I will help train it and everything.
