Just watched CBS cover this awful story on their evening news with a tongue-in-cheek, alliterative, pun-filled report that frankly insulted me in its lighted-hearted tone during far too much of the report. The anchor said the reporter had a "nose" for the story or something like that to begin it and referred to them "sniffing" out the details and so forth. Totally silly, wrong attitude reporting this horrific story of the cold-blooded killing and painful death of an innocent dog. Sad that they tried to make light of this poor dog's death.
