Question fixing your baby?

so im a firm believer in, if you are not a professional breeder , that you should get all pets fixed for there health and safety.

because no matter what stuff happens and you can't always keep them safe- especially if another animal is determined enough- so why not do all you can to help prevent it?
also not getting them fixed while also not letting them breed can cause helth issues too.

so my question is- what age would be safest to fix them? what sort of problems can come from doing it too soon or too late?

Iv looked into it, and done alot of research on the subject for alot of animals but the info has been all over the place(for yorkies) even from one vet to another and than there are all the anti-fix people spreading untrue facts that get in the way (yes they can have their opinion, i just wish they didn't spread things that are bluntly untrue :/)

. so i thought id be better to ask you guys for an option.
