For sure ... and like anything else the buyer of insurance needs to research their claims paid history, and consumer reports.
I am so glad that you have had healthy dogs so far, but for those of us who have not, have had 4 or more major health issues crop up, which we self funded, you might just have a different viewpoint. Also to consider is your age to retirement, or if you are retired and on a fixed income....
I personally have easily spent over $20,000 on vet care for extraordinary health issues in my dogs. It can add up quickly when you want and do provide for the best of health care.....
