Yorkiemom my breeder didnt tell me much of anything! I know her kennel was clean and all the pups looked good BUT she was feeding them all Purina puppy chow . That changed as soon as got her home!! She kinda shoved the AKC papers in my hands and took my money ! I did want Spicey as she was the runt and I was afraid she wouldnt get the attention she needed.
I only wish I had found this forum before . I am learning as go. LOL This forum has been my Yorkie Bible!
I have also learned so much since I joined this site! I would still have taken this Yorkie home with me, but I think I would have been better prepared. I have had dogs all my life so I was able to deal with it and help him adjust to a new home. I do believe in being alpha dog from day one, but I also believe in loving a new dog that comes into my home like Teek did. 9 years old and just handed to me. The people knew me, as we go to a lot of the same functions in town and have mutual friends, so they knew he would have a good home. I do not know them real well but enough so they gave me the dog. I have learned so much though on here. I am also glad that I am not the only person who loves their Yorkie the way I have come to love mine in the 7 weeks he has been with me.

He loves his furever home and him and I love him to pieces.

I will be better prepared for our new baby we are getting in a few months though thanks to this site!
