$22 year is a good price. The$1000 for decutable. That would be required for major surgery or accident.Its good for a piece of mind. But for me still not worth the cost. I've always thought about it. But I've had many dogs and never had a problem. Only with one. And if something did happen I'm fortunate enough to have the money for care. Hopefully I will never find out. I'm 49yrs old always had dogs. Never need acl surgery, had one with bad knees nothing. One dog had problems like I said. Other then that. iI I had to spend $4k guess I won't go on vacation that yr. For others is it a piece of mind and money saving good. I will always pay to take care of my dogs. But never had to. This is my reasoning for me.
