I was of the mindset I didn't need insurance because my vet will let me make payments if I had to. But my premium for both of mine is less than 50.00 for accidents and illness and I have the wellness policy also. One visit with jada for a tummy issue was 300.00. I have a 500.00 annual deductible so I may not file. I have embrace which has a vanishing deductible if you don't have to file a claim. It goes down 50.00 a year. I will never have a pet that isn't insured in the future
