Oh, Judy, how great is that sign!!! I've seen so many funny gun warning signs lately - one that said something like "I Have A Gun And No Sense of Humor". And another, with picture of a gun pointed at the viewer, that said, "I Don't Dial 911". And the one that said, "You Might Get In, But You Won't Get Out".
I sometimes wonder how women who have no means of protection make it through long, dark nights when there is a criminal on the loose or they hear a sudden, unexplained sound from outside during the night. I don't think my heart can beat as fast as it would if I had no way to stop an intruder and knew someone was outside my house, determined to get in. Gives me shivers.
Hopefully you and your neighbors can work together to see to it that whoever put that violent criminal on a work crew in a neighborhood is relieved of those decision-making powers. Likely he overpowered a guard and took his weapon and ran for hiding until dark. Stay safe. Hopefully the men in your neighborhood will be sitting on their porches, in their cars or by their windows tonight keeping watch. Hope they catch this jerk tonight.
