This really does sound fishy to me. Do you know the people you are dealing with? Have you actually seen the puppy?

There is a well known scam where people will sell you a puppy and you wire them the money and then the money is gone and there is no puppy.

Please be very careful. No one wants to see someone lose money like that, at least no one on here.

Can we ask how you found this person? There are a lot of these scams on Craigslist and a lot of people have fallen for it and have lost a lot of money.
