 After heat licking until raw
Greetings, our baby girl Lady has had her second heat without much trouble. It's been 5-6 days since she finished and the area seems very raw and she has been licking to the point of light bloody spotting around uvula. I have put her "diaper" back on to prevent more licking and have been careful about diet as well as treats. We are very careful not to have her in contact with anything that could cause irritation. My questions are simply, what is causing her to lick to the point of such irritation and how do I stop it?? Thanks, Mark and more so Lady. |
