I started out by breaking a treat in two and gave Pipping the first half when Pipping was up on the couch. She got the other half when I was done putting in her ponytail. Now all I have to do is get the treat and say Ponytail Time and she runs to the couch. She waits until the ponytail is in and then looks for the other half. It took a long time but she is used to it now.
