So sorry to hear your baby got hurt. Because he is hurt and it's affecting his ability to stand on his own, I think this calls for a necessary vet visit. If he is injured already, it could be that doing anything to help him go could do further damage. If it were me, I'd want my vet administering any form of aid for this. The back and spine are very sensitive, and I think injuries in that area can affect bowel movements, and I would want to run this information by my vet at the very least. Keep us posted.
