I used plywood to block of the dining room. I had home depot cut a 4 foot by 8 foot sheet in half making them 2 by 8. You could have them cut them again so you would have 4 pieces that are 2 feet by 4 feet. Then all you need is corner beackets and screws not longer then the width of the plywood. They would have a 4 foot by 4 foot pen to play in. If you want it bigger, just get different cuts on the plywood.
