how scary that must have been, I am so glad it turned out well. Having to suddenly lift them up is one of the best reasons for a harness. However I would hate to use those thin strappy ones the pet stores sell. There are some pet stores that only sell those types and they are so hard to figure out how to put on that it think it might turn new pet owners off harnesses because they think that is the only kind available.
