10 years ago I took my little Schnauzer to the U of IL because she had a heart condition. They put a pacemaker in her and we went home. A year later she had to have the battery replaced so I took her the night before and still remember her at the end of the leash that the vet was holding. She was stretching and pulling trying to get to me and I turned and walked away. She passed away on the operating table the next day when they were replacing her battery. That is why I felt so bad seeing Molly acting the way she did.
On a happier note, Molly is done and did great. I get to pick her up in an hour.
