Poor baby but dogs are just like children and sometimes they have to be turned over to the professionals to help them, even when they are scared. The vets and their clinic workers are all doglovers and will be sure to try to make her stay there as loving and easy as is possible. Many are experts at knowing how to settle a dog. And don't worry, she'll forget any nerves just as soon as she sees you are there to take her home again.

Your dog having all her teeth and gums healthy, pain/infection free, for chewing and enjoying her food and chewtoys, tugowar, protection from predators, etc., will be your repayment for the guilt you feel. Still, we all leave the vets feeling a little guilty and scared when our baby is going to be anesthetized for any procedure and it never gets easier year after year.
