I bought a very cheap simple harness for my new Yorkie from EBay. It was only a few dollars and it works great. I have a 7 lb dog and it is almost maxed out for him even though it says up to 10 lbs. it is fully ajuga able to a small size. If your Yorkie is not always trying to escape or hard to handle a simple (cheap) harness like that might be great. My Yorkie is 9 years old and very laid back so I have no problems with him trying to wiggle out of it or anything.

I got this dog 6 weeks ago with no warning that I was getting a new dog so I had nothing for him except the collar he came with. I have bought him a new collar and a harness and leashes. He has clothes and hair ties. I had to get him a winter coat because even with a sweater on he was cold outside.

I have been happy with the cheap harness, but a different dog might not do as well with it.
