From what I have heard, it works best on gunky teeth. The Rotweiler in the pics is 11 years old and has never had a professional cleaning. At tobysnaturalpets.com, it is only $19.95, much much cheaper than a professional cleaning! I'm not sure of the prices others have found though, from the posts, it looks like they differ.
