Licensing your dog shows proof of ownership. Heaven forbid your dog gets loose and taken to the shelter, how are you going to show its yours and get it back, because they wont release an unlicensed dog.
Not to mention, our licensing fee is what helps support the running of the shelter and our local animal control. Its a nominal fee for a spayed/neutered dog, so I cant see why you wouldn't license your dog. |
They don't come door to door in my county,me not licensing my past dog was a big over sight, me not licensing my adopted boy another over sight, paper were filed, out of sight, out of mind. The $20. life time fee to licensing my dog is not a big deal to me, I like to follow the law, not making excuses, but Cody is micro chipped, my check is made out and will be mailed on Monday, because of this OP thread, THANK YOU OP for this thread lol
