Licensing your dog shows proof of ownership. Heaven forbid your dog gets loose and taken to the shelter, how are you going to show its yours and get it back, because they wont release an unlicensed dog.
Not to mention, our licensing fee is what helps support the running of the shelter and our local animal control. Its a nominal fee for a spayed/neutered dog, so I cant see why you wouldn't license your dog. |
After doing it once and them sending the tag back with a piece of paper that had Callies name and should have had the info I filled out on it but it had half correct and half not correct I just don't worry about it because there system is obviously screwed up. No one in my area seems to inforce licensing.
