Our cassie was tiny like that....she weighed 2 1/2# when we had her spayed...she was almost 2 years old. She didn't go into her first heat until she was just over a year old. She was a chihuahua mix...I was petrified to have her spayed because she was so tiny! But I had started working as a vet tech and my boss guilted me into having her spayed haha .... being the tech assisting on her spay was an advantage I had....I would definately try to find a vet that specializes in very small animals if at all possible!
