Does your vet think she is "skinny" or just tiny? I would tell him I am concerned why she is late with her heat cycle, why she is "skinny" and wont /cant gain weight, and see if he suggests any specific lab work., like thyroid or other hormone tests... When you get off into the weeds with specific blood work, it can get pricey......you go looking under all the rocks, and you may not even have a real issue except she needs more food/calories!.....and there may be absolutely NOTHING wrong! If she is indeed "skinny", she may need to eat more calories to gain weight...either more food, more feedings, supplements, etc. As she gets larger, she may have her cycle....it may just be a weight thing....kind of like an anorexic woman will have cycle issues....
