I just made the recipe up, lol

I have tried it with sliced chicken apple sausages which was a sweeter outcome (I would encourage cinnamon and brown sugar) and with ground sausage (I would encourage rosemary and thyme) which was more savory both must have butter sautéed onions and lots of garlic! Yum....
I like them both too but violas steal my heart

although I do enjoy the ritual of planting annuals an their fleeting bursts of color and joy, I prefer a perennial that I can depend on year after year and look forward to and build a (okay this sounds stupid but..) long term emotional relationship with. The consistency and rythym warms me like an annual fling never could
