I made mine for Mickey when he was neutered. I rolled up a couple washcloths and covered with a fabric strip. Safety pinned them around his neck to fit rather loose but not loose enough to get it off. It is soft and thick enough to keep him away from his stitches. He wore it and slept in it and didn't get to his stitches at all.
