Default Can I vent?

Long story short. Last October I got a beautiful 10 week old Yorkie who quickly began to show signs of liver shunt. Pretty muched confirmed with various tests. She even had a hepatic encephalopathy episode. The breeder took her back. She then asked if I would watch her while she was out of town for 3 weeks and I said yes. It was a great 2 weeks and I was considering keeping her but then the symptoms returned.

We ended up giving here back on Jan 4th. It was so painful I still cry over her. That day she was very mopey and tired. When I got to the breeder's house as soon as she saw the other 1 dogs, one being her mother, she came to life. It almost made me feel better about leaving her. I have kept in touch with the breeder and given her info to this website and a yahoo group for liver dogs, which she joined. The other day I emailed her some info and she responded that the puppy was doing well and she sometimes, she (breeder) forgets that she is a "special needs" puppy except that the other day when she got into one of her other yorkie's food and was lethargic for a day.

She then goes on to say that she has to adopt her out and wanted to know if I knew anyone? I freaked out. I spent $1800 on the puppy, had her for a total of 2 months, spent $1100.00 in vet bills. She only reimbursed the $1800. And I never asked for any of the vet fees because I figured that she would need the money to take care of the puppy.

Now I am heart broken that this precious little girl who has already had a rough life, who didn't ask to be born is going to possibly have to go to a new home!

I am worried that she may not disclose her medical issues to whomever may adopt her. I am sick over this! Any thoughts?
