Not according to scientific research, input from vets and vet nutritionists....I have fed RC for over 35 years and it works super for my dogs....never had a problem and coats and vim and vigor are all top notch.

Some people have an aversion to corn....there is nothing wrong with corn. It is ground into a fine powder and is highly and easily digestable in the formulas RC produces. It is beneficial in their diets....however, you have people that consider corn to almost be toxic or a "junk filler". It isn't. Just like you have people that are vegitarians and those of us that eat meat and dairy products.....it is up to us to decide what we want to eat and feed our pets. All we can do is base our decisions on SOUND scientific research and evidenced based outcomes, and not hear say or information distributed by people that are benefitting financially from a dog food company or a dog food distributor.....before you bow down to Dog Food Advisor dentist, be sure you read how he rates his choices, and where he gets a lot of his financial support from. Read his disclaimer.....he has incintive to promote some of the food he rates highly, and he quickly points out all his decisions are HIS decisions, based on what HE thinks is best for dogs to eat. No research, no thorough testing, no stats on recalls made by the company, all information he bases his choices on are arrived at from information distributed by each dog food company, as well as ingredients HE feels are "good".
