My Yorkie, Abby, has finally been diagnosed and treatment has started. She has lymphanglectasia which is a Yorkie genetic disease. She is on a low fat intestional dog food, prednisone and cyclosporine. Already her stools are better. Her B12 was low because of the absorption problem, so needs weekly B12 shots until proper range is met. Eventually she will be weened off the prednisone, but will have to continue the atopica and low fat intestional food long term. So relieved. I had never heard of this before. Wish that I had known about it.
